[edit] New Wikiproject
Hi there, just a quick note to let you know that we've started a new wikiproject! WikiProject Ottawa aims to expand the amount of articles in Ottawa, and of the articles that are there, take them from stubs to something worthy of being a feature article. We hope you'll stop by and sign up! --Spinboy 03:55, 3 Apr 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Ottawa Wikipedia Meetup
Hey, just a quick note to let you know there is an Ottawa Wikipedia Meetup that we've started! Today was the first one, I accidentally left the note on your user page, and not talk page! Anyway, I hope you'll stop by the meetup website, and sign up to find out about the next Ottawa Wikipedia Meetup --Spinboy 03:57, 3 Apr 2005 (UTC)
You know, I'm just a 17 year old who doesn't really have time for this. Thanks anyway.--Red Star 14:12, 3 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Wikimedia Canada
Hi there! I'd like to invite you to explore Wikimedia Canada, and create a list of people interested in forming a local chapter for our nation. A local chapter will help promote and improve the organization, within our great nation. We'd also like to encourage everyone to suggest projects for our national chapter to participate in. Hope to see you there! -- user:zanimum
[edit] Outback
Are you sure the Outback's first album was called Baka? Because I know Martin Cradick and Su Hart and I think that they didn't find out about Baka until 1992. I might be wrong though, I'm just checking. Abbyemery 09:24, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Outback
I could ask him, in fact I will do on Tuesday and add what I find out to the article. Abbyemery 16:38, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Outback
Martin said that the album was called Baka, because he and Su had seen a documentary about them in that year. They didn't travel to Cameroon until 1992. Abbyemery 16:08, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
- I feel special now, I contacted Martin Cradick indirectly!!! Anyway, it looks like they decided to travel to Cameroon after Outback was dissolved. I wonder how it would have turned out if Graham Wiggins had still been around at the time... Baka music with didgeridoo... Well, maybe you can now talk to Cradick, and the other folks from Baka Beyond, into expanding himself the article, and making the one about himself? That would be fun. I think that would be a first on Wikipedia, at least for an artist to edit an article. --Red Star 03:10, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
