An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:Robert F. Treat.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. [edit] Please don't remove maintenance tags without discussing it first on the talk page.

Please do not remove maintenance notices from pages, as you did with Robert F. Treat, unless the required changes have been made. If you are uncertain whether the page requires further work, or if you disagree with the notice, please discuss these issues on the page's talk page before removing the notice from the page. These notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of a page. Thank you. LeaHazel : talk : contribs 13:48, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Notability

To be consistent with Wikipedia's aim of being an encyclopedia, lists of notable people should only contain individuals who satisfy our notability criteria. Per the result of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Robert F. Treat, you don't satisfy this definition. Even if there were a borderline argument for notability (which I can't see from the AfD or WP:BIO), there is also a clear issue re: Wikipedia:Conflict of interest.
