[edit] The list of maps and improving/expanding this article
I'm a mergist, basically, but the list of maps kind of takes up an amount of space disproportionate to its importance in the article. By the time you get through it, the post-production section almost feels like a footnote. Would anyone be opposed to spinning off the list into a List of maps used in Red vs Blue?
Secondly, I think that this article has enough potential sources and information available to eventually become another FA. Things do need to be fleshed out significantly, and it'll probably be best to wait until the season 4 DVD has been released and incorporated, but I think that it's feasible. As of right now, however, there ae a few missing areas that could be covered:
- The filming of Church in ghost form. The season 1 and 2 DVDs discuss this thoroughly.
- Some recurring music/tunes are attached to characters/situations ("A Girl Named Tex"; the Warthog song, which is a different tune on the DVD version compared to the version in the episodes; the song that plays during battle sequences with the Grunts (I believe that it's called "Noob Rush", but that's only going by process of elimination from the songs listed on the season 3 DVD end titles).
- The Halo 2 lighting trick that Burnie documented in one of his recent journals.

[edit] GFDL notice
Just noting here that this article was created by splitting the "Production" section off from Red vs Blue. The history of the text prior to this article's creation can be found in the history of Red vs Blue as of 01:51, 13 February 2006 (UTC-4), oldid 47893169. — TKD::Talk 09:39, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
Also noting that from 04:33, 17 February 2006 (UTC-4) until the split of the "Maps used" section to its own article on 03:31, 20 March 2006 (UTC-4), this article incorporated text from User:Dr. B/Lab, as of 21:08, 12 February 2006 (UTC-4), oldid 39422382. — TKD::Talk 09:58, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Upgraded to High importance
I had initially marked this as Mid-Class, but, after some reflection, I decided to upgrade to High-Class because Red vs Blue's production techniques have been detailed rather thoroughly in several mainstream articles. — TKD::Talk 00:34, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sheila
An anonymous user added the following:
In scenes with Sheila the tank, she is driven by a regular player, although she is an AI, and drives herself. Very few close up shots feature Sheila in motion, because the driver could then be seen, ruining the story.
However, it's unsourced (though I do remember hearing about it), it doesn't flow with the surrounding text, and I don't see an obvious place to move it to. So I'm putting it here for now. — TKD::Talk 14:05, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
- They state it on the second season DVD commentary. Probably the first as well, but I know they say it on the second. If you could reword it, add the reference, and find a place for it, go ahead. -- Viewdrix 17:05, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
