[edit] Overall Rating

"Overall Rating ....... 3.6/10, (Plot 2/10), (Direction 4/10), (Acting 2/10), (Cinematography 5/10), (Music 5/10)"

May I know whose opinion this "Overall Rating" is based on. Thanks. --BorgQueen 10:55, 16 October 2005 (UTC)

Perhaps it’s not my POV but the collection of some serious reviewer’s ratings from various websites.
During some hard search for recourses of the article, I visited well over 50 movies websites including imdb.com or just like movies.yahoo.com.
After reading every piece of information from the selected articles, I guessed the reviewer’s opinions about the movie plot, music, acting, direction, cinematography, and music.
Afterward I wasted some more hours to calculate all these figures and shaped in final figure just as you saw. This is of course a hard work, collecting these figures from verity of websites took lot of my time an I’ll not guaranty including these figures in my upcoming film articles.
However, I have an idea and need help from the respective users like you. The idea is about to build our own rating system for movies. I have details and if notice some interests then I’ll explain it here or on my talk page. User:SPMEKA 16:31, 16 October 2005 (UTC)

Don't take this the wrong way, but: Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia_is_not_a_publisher_of_original_thought Xastic 18:28, 22 October 2005 (UTC)
Indeed. I removed the overall rating as OR. --BorgQueen 22:50, 23 October 2005 (UTC)

There are no references. slambo 10:48, 24 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Reference

The only section I added was the criticism section, and the source is listed in that section. The disparity between the movie's entry (which to my knowledge is the only verifiable source in this article) and this article strongly suggests a fanboy component at work. --L. 00:18, 16 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Poster / name

The poster seems to show a film called "Kalidor" - was it released under that name in some places (sems to be in French) ?

Shouldn't we try to find an illustration under the Red Sonja name ?

[edit] Why the name change for Conan?

My understanding is that Roy Thomas created Red Sonja for the comics while Red Sonya was the inspiration. Sonya was a Robert E. Howard character but was not set in the same time/location as Conan. Because the studio bought the rights to Red Sonja from Marvel, they could not reach an agreement with the owners of the Conan license so they renamed the character. Can anyone find any details on this? I vaguely remember reading about this in a comics trade magazine or something back in the 80's. Maybe the CBG? Vaginsh 10:11, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
