Redonda Beach

Redonda Beach (Praia Redonda in Portuguese, lit. "Round Beach") is an extensive maritime beach of Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal, and currently the Southeast beach of the city, due to the fact, that the former Póvoa Bay was transformed in to the seaport of the city.
The beach has white sand and no or very few rocks and divided in three areas: Leixão, Loulé and Redonda (proper). There are several bars near it. A nightclub, Diana Bar (beach library) and Café Guarda-Sol are located in the beach.
