Rederijker

A Rederijker is a member of a chamber of rhetoric in Flanders or the Netherlands. The rederijkers from the 15th and 16th c. were mainly interested in dramas and lyrics.

The Rederijker experimented with poetic form and structure.

Some of their successful works that came from the Rederijkers included: The play Elckerlijc.
