Redcar East is an area in the North East England town of Redcar in the borough of Redcar and Cleveland and the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire, England.
The area takes its name from the local railway station, Redcar East railway station and comprises low rise private housing, mostly built between the two World Wars and some council housing built post World War II.
Its proximity to the beach and the grassy, dune area known as The Stray makes the area one of the more desirable places to live within Redcar.
Locations in the unitary authority of Redcar and Cleveland, in the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire. |
