Red Crescent of Bosnia and Herzegovina
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Red Cross Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a branch of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
The society has 226,760 volunteers and 9 employees.
The United States alleged that Mohammad Nechle's employment by the Bosnian Red Crescent tied him to terrorism. During his Combatant Status Review Tribunal Nechle was presented with a copy of the unclassified portion of his dossier. It contained four allegations, including: "Detainee is a former employee of the Red Crescent Society and attended meetings in Sarajevo for Algerians working for non-government organizations in Bosnia."
