Red Blood Gothic Radio

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Established in 2000, through Internet radio network 'Live 365.com' 'Red Blood Radio' gradually became one of the prime sources for Gothic music internationally, exclusively available on the Internet. To date, it is the first entry listed in Goggle under the search criteria 'Gothic radio'. 'Live 365' cited the station with their 'Editor's Pick' designation. The previously poorly represented Gothic/Dark Wave musical style enjoyed a resurgence in popularity as the Internet itself was gaining popularity. The station was among the vanguard in its genre, virtually since its inception.

The voice behind the station is a pioneer webjockey known as Lady J. Her silky, alluring voice, and constantly updated play list has drawn increasingly more attention, fans, as well as imitators. Currently wielding a play list of fifty plus hours of non-repeating music, Red Blood Radio has become the bastion for many classic and forgotten bands, and more importantly a springboard for many burgeoning new bands. The station has its own web site, and has expanded into promotion. RED BLOOD Gothic Radio (Gothic Radio)
