Red-Eyes Black Curse
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Red-eyes Black Curse is episode 7 of Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monsters
[edit] Story
The gang arrives in a volcanic wasteland, flowing with lava. Tristan nearly falls into the lava, and Grandpa quickly follows suit. When Tristan and Grandpa are safely returned to solid ground, Joey runs off on his own to find another clue. Yugi and the Pharaoh wonder who made that world.
Joey searches for the clue, when the Red-Eyes Black Dragon attacks him.
As Yugi ponders their circumstances, he realizes that other people must also be playing the game if they’re after the power. Téa spots the clue and summons her Dark Witch to fetch it. Grandpa reads:
To gain the prize that thy desire,
Locate the peak that spits fire.
The blade of chaos thou must release,
To bring about a lasting peace.
They realize that the “peak that spits fire” must be the volcano in the distance.
Joey tries to retaliate against the Red-eyes, but he can’t bring himself to harm his favorite monster. Then he realizes that the Red-eyes doesn’t want to hurt him either.
Téa, Yugi, Tristan, and Grandpa make their way up the side of the volcano, when Tristan slips –again- and begins to fall. He grabs hold of a capsule and releases Thunder Dragon. Tea then summons her Dark Witch to carry her, and the Pharaoh merges with Dark Magician and carries Grandpa.
On the way toward the volcano, Téa sees the supposed “Blade of Chaos” embedded in the peak. The Pharaoh makes his way to the sword when he is stopped by a fireball. The caster of the fireball was Joey, merged together with the Red-Eyes Black Dragon. However, Joey isn’t acting like himself, telling the others that he can win the game on his own and attacking them.
The Pharoah "morphs". He and Joey fight, while Téa notices that the Blade of Chaos is sinking. Tristan runs up to the sword but Joey stops him. The Pharaoh distracts Joey as Tea, Tristan, and Grandpa try to release the sword, but it only continues to sink. Joey attacks them again, and Grandpa decides that they should all use their monsters to defeat Joey. Tea says that Joey will get hurt, but Grandpa argues that if they don’t attack him, they’re all going to be trapped in that world. Tristan and Tea reluctantly agree, and summon their monsters.
In the middle of a powerful attack, Yugi and Joey communicate psychically. Joey tells Yugi that he can’t control himself because something was wrong with the Red-Eyes’ mind. Joey asks Yugi to attack him, saying that it’s the only way to beat the trial. The possessed Joey then tries to attack the Pharaoh, but is stopped by the real Joey. The Pharaoh uses his dark magic and expels the dragon’s spirit, causing Joey to pass out. However, the Blade of Chaos sinks into the ground, ending the trial. Then the Red-Eyes Black Dragon swoops down on them, shooting fireballs at them. The Pharaoh reflects the fireball back at the Red-Eyes, defeating it.
Joey gets up, saying they can still win, and pulls the actual Blade of Chaos from the Red-Eyes’ side. The sword had corrupted the Red-Eyes’ mind, turning it evil. Joey throws the sword into the air, and the Pharaoh destroys it, lighting the 3rd section of Téa’s pendant.
Joey calls the Red-Eyes into a capsule and faints again. A door appears and the gang approaches the 4th trial, with Joey on Tristan’s back.
Meanwhile, the mysterious cloaked man appears to be following them. “If anyone exists who can complete these five trials and free my soul, it is you, Pharaoh”, he muses, and removes his mask, revealing him to have a striking resemblance to Alex Brisbane!
