this is obviously a work in progress. i will (or anyone else feel free too) add other clubs when i get round to it. at present only premiership, championship, and division one clubs are included. i know there are clubs in lower leagues with higher records than some of these clubs. i believe the figures on footballgroundguide are accurate, as they match an article in the independant newspaper, and they also match figures on each clubs page on wikipedia. the site is the most comprehensive on english grounds that i know of.

For capacities, footballgroundguide is mostly accurate, but not completely accurate. I imagine it similar for records. Oldelpaso 12:38, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

The Wycombe Wanderers figure does not tally with that given on the Adams Park page (15,850 at Loakes Park v St Albans City in 1950).

I assume that the previous incarnation of Accrington Stanley will have a rather higher figure as well.
