Recurrent rotation

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Recurrent rotation refers to a group of songs still frequently aired on a CHR ratio station even several months after the initial debut.

The Billboard charts include these lists: Top 40 Mainstream Recurrents, Top 40 Rhythmic Recurrents, and Top 40 Adult Recurrents. One-hit wonders (such as Eamon and Maria Mena) usually receive more recurrent airplay than artists who have several hits.
