ReclaimDemocracy.org is a non-profit organization that summarizes its mission as "Restoring Citizen Authority Over Corporations." Its website also notes "reviving grassroots democracy, and revoking the power of money and corporations to control government and civic society."
It says that corporation should be limited exclusively to business activities and not be permitted to exercise political power. To accomplish this, the organization advocates building toward long-term change in the United States Constitution, including:
- an amendment specifying that the protections in the Bill of Rights do not apply to corporations
- an amendment specifying that political spending is not constitutionally protected speech
- an amendment giving all citizens an affirmative right to vote
