Robert Buxbaum is president of REB Research & Consulting, a company specializing in hydrogen purification, hydrogen generation (especially using membrane reactors), hydrogen extraction, and hydrogen barriers. REB Research manufactures Mr. Hydrogen®, hydrogen purifiers, and Me100® methanol-reformer based hydrogen generators. REB also provides consulting on hydrogen matters. REB has sold to, or consulted with a majority of the world’s fuel cell companies, as well as with the DoE and various energy companies on hydrogen generation, extraction and safety issues.

Robert Buxbaum graduated from Cooper Union, 1976, and from Princeton University in 1981 with a PhD in chemical Engineering. Robert Buxbaum is also a professor at Michigan State University in both the Chemical Engineering and the Physiology departments (adjiont) and has been a researcher at Argonne National Laboratory. He is a professional engineer, and the author of over 60 technical papers and 6 US patents.
