Rebecca Gilman

Rebecca Gilman (b. Trussville, Alabama) is an American playwright. She attended Middlebury College and graduated from Birmingham-Southern College. Her plays include The Glory of Living, (for which she received an Osborn Award and an After Dark Award), Spinning Into Butter (the recipient of the Scott McPherson Award), Boy Gets Girl, The Sweetest Swing in Baseball, and Blue Surge.

First of all you should know that I never think about these things while I'm writing. It’s only when people are interviewing me that I have to analyze my own plays.[1]
