Reading Renegades are an American football team, based in the town of Reading in the English county of Berkshire. The team consists of Adult Kitted American Football and Youth Flag American Football.

First season was in UKAFA in 1985, before moving to the Budweiser League for 1986 and 1987. The Renegades missed the 1988 season, but came back in 1989 to play in the CGL. In 1990 played in the BNGL First Division where they registered a 1-9-0 record. The club folded at the end of that season.
In 2004 the Renegades were restarted by the current General Manager Oliver Raffle and a small group of American Football enthusiasts. This core group helped to build the team that is currently in place today after many hours work during 2005 and through our successful application to BAFL at the end of 2005.

The Renegades currently share a home with other sports team at the Berkshire Council Sport & Social Club while competing in the British American Football League. The Renegades are affiliated with the Renegades Youth organisation who are starting flag football for children aged 12 and above in the Berkshire area.
The Renegades face new opposition as the BAFL Division 2 is realigned due to an increase in the number of teams in the league. These new opponents are still to be decided as regular opponents in Division 2 South West.
