The Reading Knights are a member of the British Collegiate American Football League (BCAFL)'s Southern Conference-Southern Division. The Knights are a founding member of the BCAFL's Southern Conference and are one of the oldest and least successful BCAFL teams. They have suffered through nineteen straight losing seasons (without a single winning season) and have never made the BCAFL playoffs, although they did play in the Southern Plate competition in 1999-2000. Reading holds the record for the most regular season losses in BCAFL history (116) and is the only team with more than 100 losses.
