The Reading Evening Post is an English local evening newspaper covering Reading and surrounding areas. The paper is published five times a week, on Monday through Friday, in tabloid form, and has a circulation of about 18,400 [1].

The Evening Post is part of the Guardian Media Group's regional newspaper division. This group comprises over 40 paid-for and free titles published from four regional centres. Locally the group also publishes the Wokingham Times and the Bracknell & Ascot Times.

The Reading Evening Post was named Regional Newspaper of the Year for the second year running at the 2004 Newspaper Awards [2].
