Hey, I'm the guy who updated the Beverly Hills High School trivia piece on Fat Mike's wiki page. I too went to BHHS, many years after you (Class of 2002), and was a big NOFX fan throughout high school. I remember combing through the BHHS year books from the 1980's (all of which were available in Mr. Chesterton's journalism room) to find his senior photo (which I did--it was very amusing to me at the time). That same year I went to see NOFX play Warped Tour in Orange County. I approached Mike and said in a very amicable, non-threatening way, "Hey dude, saw your picture in a year book at BHHS". Right away, he snapped at me, "I don't know you kid, fuck off," and walked away very fast. Maybe he was drunk or high, who knows. Regardless, I was completely disillusioned by this (I was 16 at the time) and well, I kinda lost interest in NOFX... ESPECIALLY after reading Fat Mike's claim that he went to Fairfax High School (it's been officially printed in numerous bios and sources). Basically, I'm guessing that being a graduate of BHHS is something to potentially kill your punk rock street cred. Boldy1

Heh. Well, he's just being a wiener. That's his personality. There's no way for him to hide his Beverly past no matter how many people he tells that he went to Fairfax. He was the most notable part of Mrs. Kinneman's french class. :D Rob Banzai 05:18, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
