As well as the wiki community pages there are IRC Channels, where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Thanks and happy editing, -- Alf melmac 01:15, 24 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Nirvana
Nirvana is not a punk rock band. Please stop adding the genre to the infobox. WesleyDodds 11:04, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
- It's not about what we think; it's about what they are classified as by sources. So they're alternative and grunge. Certainly influenced by punk, but pretty much all of the American alternative rock bands of that era were. WesleyDodds 11:15, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
Alt-rock is more than grunge. Consider the Pixies, Dinosaur Jr, Fugazi, Husker Du, the Replacements, Sonic Youth, etc. Alternative evolved out of punk rock, so it's bound to have some elements of it. WesleyDodds 11:29, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
- A lot of artists play songs in different styles. However, that does not mean they are of the genre. Plus, if we listed every genre an artist has played songs in the style of, we'd end up with the mess that's at the Prince page right now. If you wish to continue the discussion, you should do so at the Nirvana article's talk page, so that you can get feedback from fellow editors. WesleyDodds 11:49, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
