[edit] Fred basolo
A tag has been placed on Fred basolo, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. δσώпҹ (talk)(cont) 11:15, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fred Basolo
I've removed the speedy deletion tag from this article: multiple professional awards, and the existence of multiple published obituaries certainly demonstrate notability. -- The Anome 11:42, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fred Basolo
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Fred Basolo article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
Feel free to re-submit a new version of the article. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."
You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page.
[edit] thanks for the touch-up
at Caspar Buberl. Oh yes, if you write something, anything on your User:Page then your User Name will appear in blue and not in red as it is now. This will give your edits 21% (carpmath) more credibility with lots of other editors. Anyway, enjoy the WWW (Wonderful World of Wikipedia) - Carptrash 14:27, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
