Raymond de Sauvetât

Francis Raymond de Sauvetât, or Raymond of Toledo, was the French Archbishop of Toledo from 1125 to 1152.[1] He was a Benedictine monk,[2] born in Gascony.[3] While he was bishop he promoted the translation of scholarly texts from Arabic into Latin.
