Ray Takeyh

Ray Takeyh is an Iranian-American Middle East scholar and a Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations. He is also a contributing editor of The National Interest.
Takeyh has a doctorate from Oxford University (1997). Previously he worked at the University of California, Berkeley, Yale University, Washington Institute for Near East Policy and The National Defense University.
Takeyh has extensively written on Iran. He appeared at the US Senate hearings and various TV programs, including several appearances on the PBS Newshour.
