Ravji Patel (1939-1968) was one of the most talented Gujarati writers. After he died, his friends published a collection of his poems titled Angat. He also wrote a novella, Ashrughar, a novel, Zanza, along with a collection of short stories and an unfinished novel compiled as Vriti and Varta.
