Ravinder Ravi was one of the finalists in the Indian Idol. Before appearing in Indian Idol Ravi was painter working in Punjab, India. He also appeared in Sony TV's show 10 ke 10 (Dus ke Dus) and finished fourth.

Of all the Indian Idol participants he has done the most musical shows both in India as well as abroad.
