Ravi Tripathi

Ravi Tripathi (born February 4, 1976 in Uttar Pradesh, India and currently living in Mumbai) is a singer who is best known for placing seventh in Indian Idol 2, the Indian version of Pop Idol.

He has a graduate in social work from Lucknow University. His family consists of his parents, two sisters, brother and dog. A disciple of the great Suresh Wadkar, Ravi believes in sharing knowledge and is thus teaching young children Indian classical music. He is involved with children for social causes too, teaching them about our country's rich heritage and showing them the right path to make a better nation.
