Ravi Belagere is a writer and journalist based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He is the editor of Kannada language tabloid Hi Bangalore, which he founded along with R. T. Vittalamurthy, Ra. Somanath, Jogi, and I. H. Sangam Dev. He runs a show called "Crime Dairy," which airs on a regional Kannada-language channel, that focuses on crime in Karnataka, and he recently started a school named Prarthana for children in Bangalore.

Belagere has written the books Nee hinga noda byada nanna,Heli hogu karana,Mandovi,Himalayan Blunder, Khaas Baath 2000, Paa Vem Helidha Kathegalu, Paapigala Lokadhalli, The Company Of Women, and Time Pass, several of which have become best sellers.

He has acted in one movie "Ganda Hendthi mathu Boy Friend" and he also worked as background story teller for " Deadly Soma". Both movies were directed by Ravi Srivatsa.
