Ivar Christian Johansen' was born in Norway on April 28, 1976. He is a popular musician under the pseudonym Ravi (his firstname backwards). He writes songs with Anders Løvlie under the name Ravi og DJ Løv.

He is probably most famous for the remake of the song "Cheerio" originally sung by The Monroes. He renamed this song Tsjeriåu/Tsjeriå. In the music video for this song he appears as a baby and DJ Løv dressed as a Marine with The Monroes. Ravi is also famous for his short body, red hair and beard.

Ravi has also appeared in "Venn" by Espen Lind and Lene Marlin(the song was made to raise money for Tsunami victims). Ravi has released many albums, in his own "Ravi language", he writes things phonetically, e.g. cheerio = "tsjeriau" and kråpn min = "kroppen min" (My body) its tu leit tu krai "it's too late to cry".
