[edit] Summary

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Raven, Chelsea, and Eddie volunteer to run clubs for Ms. Valentine's 2nd graders, who need a fund for money to buy a new playhouse and other essentials for their classroom. Raven meets a girl named Sydney who wants to be a professional comedian. But, Sydney's style of comedy is more making fun of others instead of making her whole audience laugh. Raven encourages her to speak of jokes that are true, from the heart, and don't hurt peoples' feelings. Cory's friend, Larry, had a Bar Mitzvah. While Cory attended the party, he didn't see many gifts for Larry. Larry explains that people give more money than gifts to Bar Mitzvahs. So obviously, Cory has dollar signs in his eyes! He persuades his dad to give him a Bar Mitzvah for his upcoming 13th birthday. But since, Cory's not Jewish, he changes it to a "Bro Mitzvah". Raven asks Sydney if she wants to be one of the acts at Cory's party. Sydney is thrilled until Raven tells her that she'll be performing in front of Raven's family. Then, Sydney turns back into "a little nasty": not because of stagefright, but because she is a foster child who doesn't have a real family. So, Raven finds Sydney and tries to console her but she doesn't listen. Raven decides to take Sydney's place in the act. Raven unfortunately fails and the audience complains. But thankfully, Sydney comes and saves the day. Cory realizes that the point of a Bar Mitzvah or a "Bro Mitzvah" is to become a man, not to get money. So, Cory donates all of his received money to Ms. Valentine's class for a new playhouse and for a lot of toys!

Spoilers end here.
