Rave - Dancing to a Different Beat

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

[edit] Overview

"There are no values, no limits, and absolutely no rules." This is the tagline for the film "Rave - Dancing to a Different Beat." Unfortunately not much is known about this film. It was directed by Adolfo Quinones (better known as Ozone in the 1984 film Breakin' or as Shabba Doo as he currently is called.) It was made in 1993 though some have it listed as 1994. Nobody really seems to be sure.

The film studies the lives of "ravers." These people stay up all night and dance to techno music while often intoxicated with various stimulants such as ecstasy or speed.

[edit] Cast

The film stars: Eddie Garcia as R'eal, Ray Oriel as Toma, Gina Philips as Lorri, Marcos-Antonio Ferraez as Ranks, and Angel Ashley as Dr. Kaitlin Wallace. Adolfo Quinones also makes an appearance.
