Raunchy is a Danish industrial metal/metalcore band formed in 1994. Merging a thick, beefy, electronics-aided metal sound (produced by Jacob Hansen) with melodic touches, their breakthrough came in 2002, when they were the first Danish metal band signed to Nuclear Blast Records. (Soon to be followed by Mnemic.)
It is also a word that can mean "redneck," "slutty," "dirty" or "disgusting."
