Welcome!

Hi RastNim. Welcome to Wikipedia, the collaborative encyclopaedia that anyone can edit! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We'll certainly be looking forward for your contributions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Sarg 14:53, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Ze premade welcome messages (^) are pretty, no? Just want to say hello myself, noticed one of your LotR contributions. =) -- Consumed Crustacean | Talk | 02:16, Jun 4, 2005 (UTC)

Oh yes. You may want to try catagorizing your new articles. This page has the main Middle Earth category, for example (with subcategories from that). If you want an example of how to do it, just try any article from there, edit it, and go to the bottom. Good luck on the ol' Wikipedia. -- Consumed Crustacean | Talk | 02:19, Jun 4, 2005 (UTC)
It was premade, but it was made with Wikilove :) Sarg 08:14, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Block?

I don't believe I have blocked you--you don't show up on the block log, for example. It's probably a server error--the same sort of thing happened to me a few weeks ago, in which someone was told they were blocked by me, but I had never done so. I deeply regret the error, and I hope minor server troubles don't turn you off the encyclopedia. With luck, they'll be fixed pretty soon--I believe a bug report has already been filed about this. [edit] About the Bootcamp

I'm pretty sur the Bootcamp is at 12 PM Eastern Standard Time so, yes, you'll have to be there at an entirely different hour :( However, I don't know the current status of the Bootcamp (that's why I didn't add it to the welcoming message per se). Try contacting Sj for more information on the subject. Oh, and happy editing! Sarg 19:36, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)
