[edit] Oil???

I always thought that dubai never had oil....could somebody tell me if they did or didn't —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 216.154.23.95 (talk • contribs) 19:54, 17 September 2006.

The Dubai page says "revenues from oil account for only 6% of its gross domestic product", and "Oil reserves in Dubai are less than one-twentieth that of the emirate of Abu Dhabi, and oil income is now only a small proportion of the emirate's income." So they clearly did have some. -- Beardo 03:32, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
