Raquel Catherine Watts (nee Wolstenhulme) was a fictional character in the UK soap opera Coronation Street.

Raquel first appeared as a supermarket assistant who had become big-headed as a result of winning a beauty contest. Having failed to make it as a model, she began a relationship with Curly Watts, but she never really loved him. Her affair with Des Barnes was more serious, but Des let her down too many times. She also had a relationship with a local footballer, Wayne. Raquel was the archetypal dumb blonde, and often embarrassed her boyfriends with her innocent but stupid comments. She worked for several years as barmaid at the Rover's Return, where Bet Gilroy took her under her wing.

Eventually, having called off their wedding once, Raquel married Curly, but she became discontented after training as a beautician, and decided to take a job in the far east. Later she wrote to ask Curly for a divorce, because she planned to marry someone she had met in Kuala Lumpur, but no more was heard of her for a while until she turned up in the Street one New Year's Eve to say that she had a child by Curly, a daughter, Alice. They had been living in France, and she wanted a divorce so she could marry her employer.
