Rappin'
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Rappin is a 1985 film directed by Joel Silberg and starring Mario Van Peebles. Van Peebles plays "Rappin' John Hood", an ex-convict, who attempts to save his neighborhood from developers and hoodlums. The film has developed a small cult following despite Peeble's lack of rapping ability and the film's overall poor production values.
Ice-T appeared in a small uncredited role and reportedly provided the rhymes, including the hero's climactic lines, "Can't stop/ Won't stop/ Climbing that mountain 'till we reach the top!"
