Raphael Elig

Raphael Elig, born in Paris, [France], uses different means of expression : music composition, video and programming.
He launched and directed "DVD by Numbers", a DVD art collection edited by SONY Music Video in 2003.
Elig takes the dialog between vision and sound towards a new direction. The images appear like the results of his musical arrangements.
Comes from a classical background, where he studied Piano , Harmony and a class of Composition for Movies (Ecole Normale de Musique, Paris - France ) he pursued his musical education at CCRMA (Center for Computer Research in Music & Acoustics, Stanford University - CA - USA) in Electronic and experimental music.
