Please stop putting the USN rank of Midshipman as being equal to an opertaional PLAN rank. IT IS NOT! It is a training rank, not operational.--Mtnerd 18:51, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

I just re-edited this, and please stop implying a falsehood. In the US Navy, there is no rank equal to Junior Lieutenant in the PLAN. A USN midshipman is equivilant to a cadet in the other service. --Mtnerd 22:14, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
