[edit] Rank articles complete

I'm pleased to announce that the ranks in this article now have links to associated articles on every rank of the SA. -Husnock 30Jan05

  • The page lists a rank's Army equivalent, but what was its SS equivalent. There is the page "Comparative military ranks of World War II", which lists German Army, Navy, Air Force, and Waffen SS, but does not show how these relate to SA ranks, or for ezapmle the "Ranks and insignia of the Nazi Party". Would it be possible to create a page devoted solely to comparative ranks of the services of the Third Reich ?. - Matthew238 02:16, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ranks of Sturmbannführer and Obersturmbannführer

According to an article on the Flags of the World website (the URL is [1]), a Sturmbann was a battalion in the S.A. Hence, perhaps it would be more appropriate to translate the names of these ranks into English as "Battalion Leader" and "Senior Battalion Leader". -Christopher Crossley, 12.07 (UTC), 22 August 2005

Please see: Talk:Ranks and insignia of the Schutzstaffel for the answer to that question. -Husnock 15:43, 22 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] SA, SS, and Waffen SS

Where the ranks of the SA, SS, and Waffen SS essentially the same?
