Ransdorp ( Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Amsterdam, and lies about 7 km east of the city centre.
) is a village in theRansdorp is a part of the stadsdeel (borough) Amsterdam-Noord. The village has about 245 inhabitants.[1]
Ransdorp was a separate municipality until 1921. The village covered the villages of Ransdorp, Durgerdam, Holysloot, and Schellingwoude.[2]
