Ransbach-Baumbach is a municipality in the Westerwaldkreis district, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated in the Westerwald, approx. 10 km northwest of Montabaur, and 15 km northeast of Koblenz.
Ransbach-Baumbach is also the seat of the omonymous Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality"), which consists of the following Ortsgemeinden ("local municipalities"):
