Rani Khanijau

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rani Khanijau (born 29 January, Liverpool) joined CBBC in 2004 but she is not a stranger to children's television. She has presented lots of different children's shows for Disney, Channel 5 and Nickelodeon.

Her first appearance on CBBC was when she co-presented a new kids' reality show Best of Friends with CBBC favourite Abs. She has become a popular face on the CBBC Channel where she presents links between programmes. She is fluent in Punjabi. One of her biggest ambitions is to work with an elephant orphanage in Sri Lanka. She would also love to run a marathon but at the moment she's too busy doing DIY. She always seems to say "no way" when talking to people on the show!
