Ranger swords are fictional weapons found on the world of Corona in The DemonWars Saga novels.

Six swords were made by the Touel'alfar in times past for the humans they trained in the ways of the ranger. Each sword was made from a silver metal called silverel, which the Touel'alfar grow out of the ground. Two of the blades have been lost to time. The other four have have passed into the hands of worthy rangers and have been used to combat the evil in the world of Corona.
Tempest
The most powerful of the ranger swords, Tempest has been wielded by three rangers from the same family: Mather Wyndon, his nephew Elbryan Wyndon and Elbryan's son, Aydrian Wyndon. As with all ranger swords, the blade is made of silverel; along its center runs a "blood trough". Tempest's hilt is wrapped in blue leather twined with silverel strands and has a ball pommel which had been hollowed to hold a rare gemstone the color of stormclouds. Aydrian Wyndon added several gemstones to the sword's hilt soon after taking possession of Tempest.
Defender
With its golden basket hilt inset wth magnetites and its slender silverel blade, Defender is a beautiful weapon. Formerly wielded by the nobleman Conner Bildeborough, the blade is now in the hands of the gemstone user and warrior Jilseponie, known as Pony to her friends. The magnetites inset into the hilt allow the blade's owner to either attract or repel an opponent's blade.
Icebreaker
Very little is known of the ranger sword Icebreaker except that it is the largest sword ever created of silverel and it is currently wielded by the Alpinadoran ranger Andacanavar.
Flamedancer
Last wielded by the Touel'alfar-trained ranger Emhem Dal, now wielded by the ranger Brynn Dharielle, Flamedancer is described as a long, slender blade with a golden hilt in the shape of an elven dancer, her arms outstretched to form the crosspiece. The head of the elf is a ruby gemstone which is the joint between the pommel and blade The ruby gemstone gives Flamedancer's owner the ability to create a tongue of flame along the blade.
