Randall Williams

Randall Williams (born December 19, 1977 in Nashville, Tennessee) is an American poet. In 2005, he was:
- named "one of America's hot shot poets" for 2005 by Octopus Magazine,
- featured in the Carolina Quarterly as an emerging writer, and
- had his work highlighed by the Talisman journal as an important contribution to North Carolina's literature.
Poet and critic Ken Rumble described Williams's work as, "characterized by an open heart and high pressurized environment for language." His work often features multiple stories grafted onto each other.
Williams lives in Hillsborough, North Carolina.
