Randall Phillip

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Randall Phillip, aka Dr. Randall Phillip began publishing in the early 1990s. He produced the unapologetically misanthropic zine called F*ck, releasing some eighteen issues through the mid-to-late 1990's, wherein he advocated rape and murder.

As his small zine gained notice, he was asked to contribute to a number of larger zines including an article that appeared in Jim Goad and Debbie Goad's ANSWER Me! #4, known as "The Rape Issue", and underground cartoonist Mike Diana's zine "Boiled Angel".

Randall Phillip worked for a time at the Mütter Museum in Philadelphia, until some unpleasant liberties he had taken with several specimens got him fired.

In 1996, he joined Mike Diana on Michael Hunt Publishing, a small publishing company started by Shane Bugbee. Randall Phillip compiled the best of his work into a full length book titled "Extermination Zone". Extermination Zone was filled with shocking images and raw writing, and he admitted being sexually abused by his father in the very first chapter.

Shortly after, he released a video called "The Terror Tape" in which he built his case against "aliens", women, and most of the human race.

In 1997, he appeared as a special guest at the Expo Of The Extreme held in Chicago on Halloween Weekend 1997.

In 1999, he appeared at the second Expo of the Extreme held in May of 1999, where he performed live with the band The Eugenics Council, and in 2000, cut a split CD with the noise band Rosemary Malign and the Eugenics Council.

Phillip then took an extended hiatus from publishing F*uck, and released 1 issue of a horror movie magazine called Rabies #1. Currently Apop Records is planning to issue a book containing the entire collection of F*uck magazine. Back issues of F*uck, along with Terror Tape are also currently available from Apop Records
