Rancid News
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Rancid News is a relatively young punk zine, in circulation since the spring of 2003.
Initially it came out whilst Fracture and Reason To Believe were still in existence. Since those publications went under, Rancid News has assumed their mantel documenting the UK punk scene. A key difference between RN, RTB and Fracture is that RN is not free, and is sold outside gigs, and in record stores rather than being available for free. It has recently been compared to San Francisco-based Maximum RocknRoll, due largely to similar political beliefs and ideas on what punk 'should be'.[citation needed]
In 2005 Rancid News changed its name to Last Hours.
