Ranald Leask

Ranald Leask is a reporter on STV Central's news programme, Scotland Today.

News and sport reporter Ranald has been part of the Scotland Today team since joining from BBC Scotland in 1999, bringing with him a wide experience of reporting and producing live radio programmes.

In his spare time, Ranald is a big fan of Assam tea, cats and Scottish football team Hibernian. He has a rare collection of records by Russ Abbot, including a first edition signed print of "I Love A Party With An Atmosphere."

As well as his TV work, Ranald is also a busy voice-over artist, splitting his time between LA and Scotland.

He has voiced characters for Disney, the BBC and the Fantasy X Channel. But he is still best-known for a project he completed in his childhood, voicing the character of Violet Elizabeth Bott in a 1978 BBC childrens production of Just William.
