[edit] Origin and colours
Rampla Juniors born in the Aduana zone,(same as River Plate FC),then moved first to Aguada neighbour, and finally, near 1920,to the Cerro.Colours are taken from Fortaleza,a club that existed until first years of Rampla in the cerro zone.Another source is a story similar to Boca juniors-Sweden ship;they took red and green from a ship that arrived in the Montevideo Bay.It is said that the basketball team C.A Aguada (founded 1922) took colours from Rampla Juniors.Other versions are attributed to the Italian flag.
