Ramapuram is a town in Kottayam district in the Indian state of Kerala. Ramapuram is the birth place of famous writers Ramapuratthu Warrier & Lalithambika Antharjanam. It is situated in Palai & Koothattukulam road. The Sri Rama temple of Ramapuram is famous. The temples of Lakshmana, Bharatha & Shatrukhna is situated in around 3.5km in places Koodappulam, Amanakara, Methiri from here. Ramapuram Church festival is also famous. It is a panchayath. The house of Sri Ramapuratthu Warrier is now become an UP School as Ramapuratthu Warrier Memorial UP School. The LP School also give birth to many famous people. The house of early Indian President KR Narayanan in Uzhavoor is just 8km from here.also there is two famous schools-st.augustine's higher secondary school[boys]&sacred heart high school[for girls]around thousands of students studying here[in both school]
