Ramalinga Raju

Ramalinga Raju Byrraju (born September 16, 1954), is an Indian businessman, and a pioneer of the Information Technology industry in India.
He is the Chairman of Satyam Computer Services Ltd. It was founded in the late 1980's after venturing earlier into other businesses such as construction and textiles. Raju had acquired a B. Com from Andhra Loyola College at Vijayawada prior to receiving an MBA degree from Ohio University. He has attended the Owner/President course at Harvard.

Satyam computers is an MNC located at Hyderabad. This is one of the companies to have turnover in billion dollars and was established by Ramalinga Raju.
Ramalinga Raju was born in Bhimavaram. He was influenced by his father. He was an average student in class. He completed his degree from Loyola College at Vijayawada and then went to US to pursue his MBA. That was the turning point in his life. He learned a lot in the US and eyed on the software boom ahead and outsourcing. He started an IT company with 20 employees and bagged multitude of IT projects from US companies. Now the company has rapidly developed and became a true multinational company with thousands of employees spread over multiple countries.
