[edit] History

RAM Radio co-founders Roy Ryan, Pam McCluskey, and Sam Sattler met in 2002 and established RAM Radio in September 2003. The station evolved from the three friends’ shared musical tastes and mainstream radio frustrations.

At the end of 2006, it became the most listened to classic country station on the Live365 network. This prompted the creation of RAM Grass, a second station focusing only on traditional bluegrass and old time country music.

In March of 2007, Pam McCluskey was a guest speaker at the inaugural session of George Jones University. She lectured on internet radio and online marketing to an audience of 200 students.
